We are happy to announce that significant enhancements have been made to the Zigbee Battery and QIS Cat 6 motors connected to a Control4 system in the latest motor firmware update 2.1.23. All shades made from Monday 19th June 2023 will have the new firmware uploaded onto them
The update includes the following improvements:
- Resolved issues affecting the connection with Control4 after a power failure or long periods of inactivity
- Improved battery percentage reporting
- Improved accuracy of the shade firmware version displayed in Composer
Control4 OTA Update:
Control4 has added over-the-air (OTA) update functionality in their most recent update, allowing future motor firmware updates to be pushed.
If your project runs Composer 3.3.2 or later, the update is automatically pushed through the new over-the-air (OTA) update functionality.
All future projects will either be shipped with the latest firmware or receive the latest firmware through OTA updates once connected.
